Like any other kind of trading choosing the correct broker can make all the difference. The wrong broker can literally force a profitable trade into a loss making one.

With that in mind we’ve carried out a short review of some of the best binary options brokers. We’ve rated each one for the quality of their platform, the reliability of their service and the cost of trading.

Binary options are relatively new to the US market; most mainstream brokers don’t offer access to binary options yet. I feel sure that will change in the future but in the mean time there are still some quality brokers to choose from.

24 Option

24 Option is a relatively new broker; they initially started operations in the latter half of 2010. The company is registered in the British Virgin Islands and operates out of an office in London.

Their website is clean and easy to navigate and can be translated into 7 languages: English, Romanian, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic and Italian. They offer binary options in over 50 underlying markets with more soon to be added.

AnyOption

AnyOption is one of the earliest binary options brokers, initially launched in early 2009; they offer a range of over 60 options which is considerably more than some of the other brokers here.

Their web based trading platform is very intuitive to use and can be translated into 5 languages. They also offer a nice range of training tutorials to get you up to speed if you’re new to binary options. One unique thing about AnyOption is that you can trade 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

iOption

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Cyprus, iOption is one of the better known binary options brokers. They offer binary options in over 40 underlying markets with some of the highest profit and refund rates around.

iOption have a very simple platform which is both intuitive and reliable; they also offer a nice little tutorial which shows you how the platform works before you start to trade. It can also be translated into 12 languages including Chinese, Spanish, French, German and Arabic.

With up to 85% ROI on binaries they offer one of the highest profit margins around, they’re a very reliable broker with a good reputation and come highly recommended.

TraderXP

TraderXP was launched in October 2009, like many of their compatriots they’re registered in the British Virgin Islands. They offer a standard refund rate of 10% across the board but this is offset slightly by lower profit rates.

They offer binary options in over 50 underlying contracts which is about the same as most other binary brokers. Their website and platform can be translated into 4 languages Russian, Arabic and Spanish and English.

One thing to note is that they have a maximum investment of $1000 per option. So this is something to think about for larger traders.

OptionBit

OptionBit is one of the newer brokers in this list, launched in May 2010. They offer binary options in 37 underlying contracts which is considerably less than most other brokers here.

The OptionBit platform is easy to use and navigate, but that’s probably due to the lack of contracts available. There is little in the way of training for newbie’s and support can be a little lacking. Their website can be translated into Turkish, Spanish, Russian and German.

One final thing to note is that they do not offer refund rates for any of their contracts, if you happen to be wrong you lose 100% of the price of the contract.

EZTrader

EZTrader were one of the first binary options brokers, established in 2008. They’re a very well respected broker with a very accomplished platform. Since they were one of the first brokers they had to develop their own platform rather than rely on third party platforms like most other binary brokers.

They offer good profit and refund rates along with excellent customer service. In short they are one of the best binary brokers out there and aren’t showing any signs of giving up their crown.
